This study presents a postulate from Prima Consciousia research. The physical facts cited are sourced and established. The postulate extending them is identified as such — it is not a scientific consensus.
Einstein's general relativity (1915) describes gravity as a deformation of spacetime. Matter curves the fabric of space and time, and this curvature dictates the motion of bodies. It is elegant. It is verified. It is accepted.
But one question remains, rarely asked: if time is not fundamental, what are we deforming?
Carlo Rovelli, in loop quantum gravity, has shown that the fundamental equations of the universe contain no time parameter. Julian Barbour proposes a universe made of "now" instants without flow. In these frameworks, time is not a preexisting frame in which things happen. It emerges from the difference between states.
If time emerges, then spacetime emerges. And if spacetime emerges, gravity — which is its curvature — is not fundamental. It is an effect.
An effect of what?
This is where our study begins. And it begins with a simple observation: everything physics has discovered in recent decades points in the same direction. Time is not fundamental. Space is not fundamental. Gravity is not fundamental. Matter itself, as Vienna's team showed (see R-01, Volume 1, Alice & Bob), is not a permanent state but a stabilized decoherence.
So what is fundamental? Our answer is in AE-00: the overlap between consciousnesses. And what follows draws the consequence for gravity.
Before positing anything, let us establish the ground. Here is what is established — verified, published, peer-reviewed.

None of these facts is controversial. They are all accepted, even if not all are "popular" — most physicists work with time and spacetime as if they were fundamental, because it is practical, not because it is proven.
Put together, these facts draw a striking picture: nothing of what we perceive as "solid" is fundamental. Time emerges. Space emerges. Gravity emerges. Matter emerges. Everything emerges from something deeper.
From what?
We posit the following:
Gravity is not a force. It is not the curvature of a preexisting fabric. It is the density of silence between encounters of consciousness.
Let us develop. We posited in AE-00 (postulates 4.3 and 4.4) that:
The "silence" is the moment when phases align — where frequencies synchronize, where difference vanishes. At that moment, cross terms beat at their maximum, matter reaches maximal density. It is the wave's dead point.
If matter is denser where silence is greater, and if gravity is an effect of matter (as Verlinde proposes), then:
Gravity at a point is proportional to the gradient of silence density. Objects do not fall because a force pulls them downward. They fall because reality is denser below — where encounters between consciousnesses are more numerous, deeper, more aligned.
The elevator crashing at the bottom (see B-02 of Volume 1, Density and the Elevator) does not crash because a force propels it down. It crashes because silence below is denser. More condensed encounters, more frozen matter, more emergent spacetime. Gravity is not a downward force. It is a silence density gradient.
We posited in AE-00 (postulate 4.3) that the three great interpretations of quantum mechanics — Copenhagen, Many-Worlds, Hidden Variables — are all partially true, each describing reality from a different observer's point of view. Complete reality is not in the sum of their individual contributions but in their cross terms — the interferences between their descriptions.

This is the part of matter that comes from the dialogue between consciousnesses — not from each isolated consciousness, but from their interference.
If weights α, β, γ depend on time (phase rotations):

Matter pulses because consciousnesses interfere at different frequencies. When phases align → maximal density (dead point). When they oppose → de-densification.
If all frequencies are identical:
Perfect silence. Frozen matter. Time annihilated.
Our postulate:
Gravity is the gradient of silence density. It points toward regions where overlap between consciousnesses is greater — where matter is more condensed, more frozen, more "solid."
First, recall the generative cascade established in AE-00: Consciousness → Intention → Difference → Energy → Matter. The following physical steps are its deployment, from cooling to gravity:

Gravity is no longer an isolated force, forced at the end. It is the natural consequence of the whole chain. It flows from silence, which flows from encounters, which flow from condensation, which flows from cooling.
The postulate links the postulates of AE-00 into a single statement:

This last point deserves emphasis: gravity exists outside of time. If gravity is silence density, and if silence is the absence of frequency difference (therefore absence of time), then gravity is an atemporal phenomenon. It is not a force acting in time. It is a structure under time. A condition for the emergence of spacetime, not a consequence of spacetime.
This resolves a paradox often raised: "If gravity is a deformation of spacetime and, quantumly, time does not exist, there cannot be quantum gravity." Indeed — and the cascade explains precisely why. Gravity appears only at the last link of the chain Consciousness → Intention → Difference → Energy → Matter: it is born with matter, of which it is an effect, when silence density organizes into a gradient. Everything upstream — the overlap ⟨Oi|Oj⟩, difference, energy — is not gravitational. Seeking a "quantum gravity" means trying to quantify a force in a preexisting spacetime; yet in our framework, spacetime itself emerges only at the matter step, along with gravity. There is no quantum gravity to find, because gravity is downstream of the quantum: it is the emergence of spacetime itself, from the density of silence between consciousnesses.
The postulate predicts that gravity is proportional to the gradient of silence density. If we could measure ρsilence independently of gravity, we could test the relation. But what is a "consciousness" in this formalism? A quantum observer? A measurement-capable system? This question remains open. Perhaps "observers" in our equation are not human-conscious beings, but fundamental degrees of freedom having the property of overlapping. The link between "quantum observer" and "consciousness" remains to be formalized. (see ODC-03)
Verlinde proposes that gravity is an entropic effect — objects fall toward higher entropy regions. Our postulate says objects fall toward denser silence regions — i.e., higher coherence, which corresponds to lower entropy. There is an apparent tension.
Possible resolution: local coherence (low entropy) could be maintained by outward entropy flux — like a refrigerator creating local order by increasing global disorder. Matter would be a "pocket of coherence" maintained by exporting entropy. This idea remains to be developed. (see AE-03, thermodynamics as scale illusion)
A Bose-Einstein condensate represents maximal coherence state — maximal silence. If our postulate is right, a BEC should produce anomalous gravity. Yet laboratory-created BECs (thousands of atoms) are tiny and their gravitational contribution is negligible. Two possible answers:
Our postulate makes a distinctive prediction: in a system where quantum overlap between observers is artificially increased (e.g., creating macroscopic entangled states), local gravity should increase slightly, independently of added mass. Difficult to measure today, but in principle testable. Verlinde makes a similar but different prediction — he predicts gravitational anomaly at large scales (galactic scales) without dark matter. Our prediction would apply rather to strongly entangled systems, regardless of their scale.
Testability: Currently beyond experimental reach, but the principle of test exists. Long-term, with sufficiently sensitive matter interferometers, a correlation between degree of entanglement and gravitational acceleration could be sought.
Gravity = density of silence between encounters of consciousness.
Bodies do not fall downward because a force pulls them there. They "fall" toward regions where reality is more condensed — where dialogue between consciousnesses is denser, more synchronized, more silent.
This is not a force attracting. It is a density aspirating.
Gravity is not fundamental. It is not an intrinsic property of matter. It emerges from the encounter between consciousnesses — from their quantum overlap, from their constructive interferences. Greater the overlap, denser the matter, more spacetime emerges, stronger the gravity.
And time? Time does not exist in these maximal silence regions. Where gravity is strongest (near a black hole, at a star's center), time is slowest. Not coincidence: because silence is densest there.
If one day we manage to gather enough consciousnesses in the same coherence state (which presupposes sufficient silence, absence of noise), we would locally create a gravitational anomaly. A region where spacetime emerges more strongly. Perhaps the key to understanding how the fundamental field interacts with the material world. (see ODC-05)
