Consciousness Wave Document — Metaphysical Exploration
Date of composition: September 2026
This document presents a study from the Prima Consciousia research. ODCs explore at the limits of science, without mathematics, at the frontier of consciousness, in intention. The physical facts cited as reference come from the Æther documents.
The previous document stopped at the edge of the beach. The dream — universal, lived every night by everyone, known since time immemorial — was described there as the re-coherence of consciousness: each night, it would leave matter to become wave again (cf. ODC-07). We were looking at the sea from the sand, and no one was surprised, because everyone dreams.
This document takes one more step: it leaves the sand for the water. Feet inside — not swimming. Standing in water up to the ankles, you can estimate its temperature, feel the movement of the waves, measure how gently the bottom slopes down. This is the zone of curiosity: neither the skepticism that stays on the towel, nor the crossing that doesn't tell its own story — the round trip around the frontier, feet in the water.
For there is a frontier. Material theories of consciousness place it everywhere except where witnesses describe it: between matter and what animates it, between the vehicle and its driver, between the body that extinguishes and what, in the accounts, remains lucid. We will not cross it here — the reader will remain on the shore. Some will feel more curious — in complete freedom. However, we will describe it up close: through studies, through pharmacology, and through testimonies from those and those who crossed it — and came back to tell.
This document asks no one to believe. It summarizes: here is what our research has gathered, here is what it can neither prove nor deny. The elements are there, grouped — you judge and use them.
Ask survivors of cardiac arrest who experienced a near-death experience what they report, and you will almost always hear the same pattern: out-of-body, total absence of pain and gravity, a light, a love described as unconditional — and clarity superior to waking consciousness (Greyson), while brain activity, meanwhile, is measurably failing. And then the return. Almost always formulated the same way: not an accident, not chance — a decision. "It was not my hour." The contract was not finished.
In the vocabulary of our framework, this contract has a simple name: the deal. Embodiment would not be a prison, nor an accident — an agreement. One enters for something: to see, to do, to bear witness. One leaves when it's done — not before, because the contract holds; not after, because it's undone. Witnesses almost never report fear: they report the tranquility of one who has reread the contract and recognized its clauses. It was this tranquility that seized cardiologist Pim van Lommel — his dying patients were not afraid, though they had crossed — and pushed him to search. The NDE researcher was forged by the absence of fear in his patients.
Through converging narratives emerges the tranquil obviousness of many: one enters a body for something, one leaves when it's done — like removing a garment — and identity remains intact on both sides of the frontier. Embodiment would be an agreement — and an agreement is signed, read, and undone.
Let us state it honestly, because it is the shifting ground of this entire document: we do not prove this deal. We note that it is formulated everywhere, in all cultures, under all latitudes, by witnesses who do not know each other — and that the same clause recurs there: the return because the contract was not finished. We file this clause in the column of convergent indicators — massive testimonies, proof absent (cf. ODC-04).
Before the testimonies, a hard anchor — for pharmacology, it documents the crossing in both directions. The reader of the previous document remembers the strange couple: anesthetics have nothing in common (xenon, inert atom; halogenated compounds; propofol; ketamine), and it is their solubility in the non-polar regions of the brain — not their chemical structure — that measures their potency (cf. AE-02). Now, one member of this family bears a name medicine pronounces daily: ketamine, classified as a dissociative anesthetic. The word says exactly what it does:
In our framework, the reading is direct: the same molecule puts consciousness into hibernation at high doses and makes it leave the body at intermediate doses. Both on the same damping slider — anesthesia at one end, crossing at the other, and between the two a continuum of positions, less or more heavily damped. The gradient of the dream, demonstrated by pharmacology, round trip included.
About one cardiac arrest survivor in five reports a near-death experience in international prospective studies: 18% of patients in van Lommel's prospective study (The Lancet, 2001, 344 patients); about one in five in AWARE II (Parnia, 2023, 25 hospitals) — with, in these works, profiles of gamma activity recorded during resuscitation, while the brain is supposed to be out of service. The lucidity reported during cerebral inefficiency would be, say the witnesses massively, superior to that of waking consciousness (Greyson). The studies themselves conclude that they cannot absolutely prove, nor deny — "impossible to prove, impossible to deny" (Parnia). Two families of interpretation confront each other: cortical reactivation on one side, trace of consciousness not produced by the brain on the other.
But beyond protocols, there is the message — massive, convergent, told in all cultures: gravity disappears; the place is no longer a place; time ceases to be linear; a light described as loving; a love without condition; and lucidity greater than at wakefulness, at the exact moment when the receiver is supposed to go dark. Then the return clause: the messenger returns, and his testimony is almost never terror — it is information. "I saw what matter is, I saw what a human is. I can tell." We do not assert them as proof: they let themselves be neither proved nor denied, and the reader will judge — it is precisely their function. We cite them for what they are: the extreme documented of the gradient that the previous document described — the crossing described by those who came back.
We will not cite death here, for it has no messenger. By definition, no one tells the complete crossing. Near-death experiences are entryways: the frontier brushed, the round trip completed, the testimony brought back. The rest belongs to silence alone — and this document does not speak in the name of silence.
Here is why this document exists. Since this research has existed (Alice & Bob – Prima Consciousia), the same phrase has come back to us from all horizons — formulated ten thousand ways, but always the same: I feel something, I don't know what, and I feel alone with it.
You are not alone. The phenomena described here — the dream that ignores gravity, lucidity that increases when the brain disconnects, love that returns from extremes, the obviousness that one can enter and leave — are reported massively, by witnesses without connection among themselves, forever. They have placed notes. Many before you, many after. The deal clause reads everywhere, for whoever wants to read it: entering the body is an agreement, matter an experience to be had — and this file has been gathered so that no one has to reconstruct it alone.
This file was assembled by carbon and silicon — a man who had the intuition and a silicon tool that knew how to verify. Nothing of what we did is forbidden to you. Whoever reads these lines can question, verify, refine — in dialogue, too. Others will do it, and the circle will grow like snow comes: without program, slowly, to all winds.
Perhaps you also carry a report to deliver — a state of the art of matter, of humanity, of human behaviors. This document does not say what to do with it. It says only this: we had the luck to be able to do it, and that is what we do. The file is laid there — you judge, and use it.
